A man has been convicted of supplying unlicensed Viagra and other sexual performance drugs to an undercover undercover police officer.
Neil Gaudin, 21, of Richmond, pleaded guilty to a charge of trafficking, trafficking in misbranded drug and conspiracy to supply controlled substances.
The charges, which were not laid today, were based on an undercover officer's tip-off.
During the undercover officer's stop, Gaudin was seen taking a variety of unlicensed prescription drugs and other products without a prescription, including Viagra, Cialis, Kamagra, Levitra and Zydena.
The drug ingredients were seized during an investigation by the Department of Justice, said U. S. Customs and Border Protection.
The drugs were distributed by Gaudin through an undercover officer.
According to the search warrant affidavit, Gaudin purchased several unlicensed prescription drugs at different locations and sold the drugs to undercover officer Eli Lilly, sales representative for Gaudin.
During the undercover officer's stop, the undercover officer noticed that Gaudin had hidden the drugs in a baggie in a store. The undercover officer also noticed that the baggie contained Viagra and other misbranded drugs.
During the search, the undercover officer found the illegal drugs, including: a batch of fake erectile dysfunction pills, which the undercover officer seized.
The undercover officer also had a tip off: Lilly had been using Gaudin to distribute the illegally imported Viagra and other misbranded drugs.
Lilly was charged with trafficking and distribution of the misbranded drugs, and trafficking in the illegal drugs.
The charges were not laid today.
